Respect at the University of Iowa

This document states expectations for respectful behavior for UI faculty, staff and students and describes relevant policies.  It includes statistics about disrespectful behavior at the University of Iowa, examples of disrespectful behavior, and suggestions and resources for supervisors.

Respect Continuum

The Respect Continuum portrays examples of disrespectful behavior ranging from low intensity to high intensity.  Definitions of types of disrespectful behavior are included.

Respect at UI Training Opportunities

Workshops that relate to respectful behavior are available to members of the UI community and listed on the websites of: WRAC, RVAP, Office of the Ombudsperson, International Programs, University Counseling Services, Learning and Development, Inclusive Education & Strategic Initiatives, UI Threat Assessment Team.
