Problem-Solving Resources for Graduate and Professional Students

Most problems encountered by graduate students at The University of Iowa are minor and easily addressed, but sometimes problems are more significant and may benefit from help from others.  Students always can talk with friends, family members, advisors or other professors, Directors of Graduate Studies or other department or college administrators, or any faculty or staff member about a concern.  In addition, a number of offices on campus are available to help students with difficulties; see the listings below.
