Office of the Ombudsperson (Confidential Resource): offers informal dispute resolution for students, faculty and staff. Our mission is to see that all members of the University community are treated fairly. The office provides a confidential, safe place to discuss any concerns about the University, its policies or procedures. The office will direct visitors to additional resources as needed.

Organizational Effectiveness: University Human Resource staff collaborates with Senior Human Resources leaders and departments to assess a workplace environment and determine strategies to implement needed changes for a positive and productive workplace.

Threat Assessment Program : provides comprehensive threat assessment and management services. The program is managed through a partnership with Organizational Effectiveness (OE) and UI Public Safety and combines expertise in the areas of law enforcement, mental health, student services, faculty/staff services, legal services and organizational effectiveness.

UI Employee Assistance Program (UI EAP) (Confidential Resource): a confidential, voluntary Employee Assistance Program offering services to University of Iowa faculty, staff and their dependents. Up to four free sessions are available with a licensed mental health professional for the purpose of assessment, referral, and short-term counseling. UI EAP partners with University of Iowa Behavioral Health to offer sessions in three convenient locations.
